We just wrapped our first official LSCC retreat, and I’m still feeling all the gratitude (and maybe a little lake air still in my lungs). We road-tripped to Lake Hartwell, half from Atlanta, half from Charlotte, to find a little middle ground and carve out some real, uninterrupted time to talk about the business, the work, and the team behind it all.
What we ended up doing was something of an internal audit, but in the most human way possible. We took a long, honest look at who we are as a company, where we’re thriving, where we can improve, and what it really means to grow both as individuals and as a collective. We challenged ourselves to dig into the how. How we communicate. How we partner. How we can better serve the people who trust us with their brands. And how we turn good ideas into real, actionable progress.
In the midst of all the conversations, one word rose to the surface and stuck: Intentionality. It’s become our word of the year, our compass heading, and the heartbeat of how we move forward into year three of this wild and beautiful journey.
We’re making intentionality our north star. In the way we build relationships and find the right-fit clients. In how we show up prepared, thoughtful, and strategic for every brand we work with. In our internal processes, in our creative thinking, and in every decision we make. It’s not just about doing more. It’s about doing it with purpose. With clarity. With care.
So here we go into Chapter Three. And we will continue to grow and serve with intention. One smart, thoughtful step at a time.
