Who Zoey Is and Why She Fits LSCC
Zoey Vousden is our Brand Creative and Implementation Coordinator, and she brings a mix of curiosity, passion, and strategic design thinking that fits right in with how we build brands at LSCC. She has a natural eye for visual storytelling and a love for the small decisions that make the whole system feel cohesive. Her work is creative and thoughtful, but also grounded in purpose, which is exactly what we look for on the creative team.
How Her Creative Journey Came Full Circle
Design found Zoey early. A high school graphic design class planted the seed, but her path took a detour into biomedical engineering. It was structured, technical, and impressive, but it did not leave room for the type of creative problem solving she loved.
One AutoCAD class during 2020 changed that. It reminded her how much she missed making visual work that meant something. She shifted back into design and advertising, rediscovered branding and logo development, and never looked back.
Her in-house experience taught her to work intentionally within constraints, which shows up clearly in her process. Zoey believes color, pattern, and even a single stroke carry weight. Small choices matter, and she approaches each one with care.
Why LSCC Felt Like the Right Fit
Zoey first learned about LSCC through Dest. They met on the first day of a previous job and immediately clicked. So when the opportunity came up, joining felt like an easy yes.

Her Approach to Creativity and Problem Solving
Zoey treats design like a long-term craft. She starts by building momentum, then refines with intention. Progress, to her, happens when you make something first and shape it as you go.
She is energized by projects that push beyond the expected. Unique visual styles. Bold brand systems. Ideas that open new creative space. Her approach pairs beautifully with the way LSCC teams think and build.
Highlights, Lessons, and the Work That Shaped Her
One of Zoey’s standout moments was winning an open exhibition in school with a book cover design. It was her first public recognition and confirmed she was on the right path.
Her biggest lesson so far is to slow down. Early on, she measured success by speed. Now she values thoughtful pacing that supports stronger, more intentional work.
Her associate degree in graphic design and advertising gives her a technical foundation that makes trying new tools or workflows second nature.
Life Outside the Studio
Zoey brings creativity into her everyday life too. Outside of work she loves:
- Video games with her husband
- Sewing
- Weekly DND with friends
- Yoga classes
- Cozy nights in with a good show
She finds inspiration in storytelling, especially through games and television.
What She’s Looking Forward To at LSCC
Zoey is excited to spend more time on logo design, deepen her skills, and learn from the collective experience of the creative team. She is here to grow, contribute, and keep refining her craft.
