That’s exactly why we’re excited to welcome Peyton Scot to the team as our new Content & Media Producer. Peyton brings a filmmaker’s eye, an editor’s precision, and a creator’s mindset to every project. After six years of freelancing across the country, he’s joining LSCC to help elevate the video and visual storytelling for our clients.
Peyton built his career as a freelance videographer and editor, working primarily with fitness influencers and personal brands. His work took him across the country, including a stint in Florida producing long-form YouTube content inside a content house. Now at LSCC, he’s excited to collaborate, push creative boundaries, and help brands take their video marketing content to the next level.
Peyton’s path wasn’t perfectly linear. Originally, he enrolled at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, planning to major in marine science. But during his sophomore year, a conversation with friends changed everything. He had always loved photography, videography, and editing since working on his high school yearbook committee. Instead of worrying about whether filmmaking would lead to a “conventional job,” he decided to chase what excited him most. The switch added another dozen credit hours to his degree, but Peyton says that moment flipped a switch.
Like many creatives, there were seasons where he felt stuck, working hard but not always seeing the growth he wanted. But joining LSCC feels like a turning point. What excites him most isn’t just producing great content. It’s building something bigger alongside a team. Strategizing long-term goals. Collaborating with other creatives. Taking smart risks that push brands forward.
At the heart of Peyton’s work is a simple motivation. He loves creating something meaningful and watching clients experience that moment when the final product clicks. His goal is simple but ambitious: elevate brands visually and creatively in ways they didn’t think were possible.
At LSCC, that means helping clients support their goals with powerful video content that moves their business forward.
When Peyton isn’t filming or editing, you’ll likely find him engaged in another creative outlet: music. For the past four years, Peyton and Bay have been DJing together while also producing their own music. They currently have multiple releases across streaming platforms and a few experimental projects living on SoundCloud. For him, the energy of performing music is similar to filmmaking. There’s something special about creating something from scratch and watching people connect with it.
When he’s not creating content or producing music, Peyton is outdoors. Surfing is his therapy (though he’s the first to admit he’s still learning). He also loves disc golf, pickleball, and anything that gets him outside with friends, sunshine, and a good laugh.
As LSCC continues expanding our video and content capabilities, Peyton is focused on bringing fresh perspective, new energy, and measurable results to our clients. He’s someone who’s constantly learning, constantly experimenting, and always looking for ways to improve his craft. We couldn’t be more excited to have him on the team!
